Last Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Santa continued his tradition of lighting the holiday lights at Hudson’s Library Park. Firefighter and Santa chauffeur Kevin Blinn escorted Santa to the park on Hudson’s newest Seagrave engine. Greeting Santa was the Alvirne band under the direction of Rob Scagnelli who performed many songs of the season. Santa meandered through the crowd greeting the little ones, and wishing all a ‘Merry Christmas.’ After making his way to the gazebo where the master switch is located, Santa waved his white gloved hand, and then the lights were on and the park was all aglow, bringing cheers and smiles from kids of all ages.
