The Easter celebration began at the open door on Saturday with activities for children of all sizes. Following games and crafts the morning came to an end with an Easter egg hunt on the church’s grounds. The warm weather and happy smiling faces welcomed everyone, offering games focusing on the true meaning to this Christian holiday. One involved wrapping in paper to symbolize the shroud that Jesus’ body was wrapped in and then breaking free from the paper with enthusiasm.
Inside the church, children were coloring real hard-boiled eggs with multi colors and decorations, while crafts with Christian themes were being made to take home
Open Doors Christian Fellowship is located in Litchfield. The church is associated with the Conservative Baptist Association of America (CBAmerica).
