Campbell High School Division 3 soccer champions once again

The third-ranked Mascenic Vikings, with a regular season record of 14-2, were the opponent of the first-ranked Cougars who were 14-0-2. It was a battle - with Mascenic first taking the lead until the second half when Joaquin Heller pushed in two goals - until the last minutes of regular play. But the Vikings scored, and it was tied as the clock sounded. Overtimes are two 10-minute periods. All remained tied until freshman forward Sam Gomes scored with 2:17 left before the game would have gone to penalty kicks.
