For many years the staff and students battled on the hardwood for the honor of being the victor of a basketball game between the staff and students. The difference this year it was on campus in the new Thompson Center for Athletics and Performing Arts at the Lowell Road school. In prior years the teams traveled and were hosted by the Muldoon Center of Rivier University across the river in Nashua.
As the school grows, many players this year were from the school’s recent alumni, which seemed to add some speed and skills to the teachers’ team. The Griffins wore their white home uniforms and the squad comprised of administrators, staff, and alumni donned their maroon. Photos show some skills demonstrated by the educators that seemed to be catch the unsuspecting students off guard.
