Campbell High School’s theater program presented the musical comedy, “The Wedding Singer,” this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the school’s auditorium.  It took this talented group of young artists eight weeks to perfect the two-and-a-half-hour-long performance that kept their audience cracking up throughout.

As a spinoff of Adam Sandler’s movie, this edgy comedy was a wonderful blend of song, dance, and humor that seemed to push the boundaries of traditional high school plays.  Play Director Jill Deleault reflected on the play, “We wanted to do something that was a little more recent with rock type music and a fresh appeal.”  She continued, “This show is a joyful celebration of love and music.  I love working with the finest production team around to create an experience of true musical joy!”
