Snow White Story Presented by Penguin Players

Pelham Community Theatre and Arts’ Penguin Players recently presented White as Snow, Red as Blood:  The Story of Snow White.  Local kids, who had practiced for nine weeks, displayed a riveting performance for over an hour and a half.  Their version of Snow White proved to be not only entertaining but dramatic as well.

Surprisingly, a 13-year-old by the name of Valerie Annal directed this astounding play.  She mentioned that after she performed in 10 plays at Pelham Community Theatre, she sought out to direct plays.  After nine practice sessions and a dress rehearsal, it would be an understatement to say that the talent and passion of the children took over the stage that weekend in Pelham.
