Hudson Police are participating in the National Take Back Day, a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs. A collection site will be at Walmart on Lowell Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday the 26th.
Now, for the first time, citizens can also leave vaping devices and cartridges at any of the drop-off locations during Take Back Day. It is important to note that the Hudson Police Department/Drug Enforcement Administration cannot accept devices containing lithium ion batteries. If batteries cannot be removed prior to drop-off, HPD/DEA encourages individuals to consult with stores that recycle lithium ion batteries.
For anyone who can’t make it there on Saturday, a container is located inside the lobby at the Hudson Police headquarters on Constitution Drive. The lobby is open 24/7, 365 days per year.
