The Go Green Fair at Windham High School that took place on Saturday, April 13, was a great success.  Kate Farrell, a student at the Windham High School was the organizer.  There were approximately 40 vendors from Windham, Londonderry and the surrounding towns.  Students were there to assist unloading cars and helping vendors set up.  Throughout the day there were activities for the kids including a movie and a presentation of the Lorax.

There was a book fair to benefit Family Promise of Greater Rockingham County.  Michelle and Tom McManus, owners of Benchmark Office Systems in Windham organized the event and brought over 4,000 books and sold over 400 books.  Family Promise is a non-profit located in Derry that helps homeless children and their families get back on their feet with food, shelter and social services.  Terry Pate, a resident of Family Promise was one of the volunteers for the event.
