Get Involved with the Hudson Master Plan
October 25, 2019
If you wonder what a master plan is, that might be because Hudson has been using the same one since 2006.
The Town of Hudson is working with the Nashua Regional Planning Commission to undertake a comprehensive update of the town’s Master Plan. All members of the Hudson community are encouraged to participate in the master planning process. The NRPC recognizes that people operate on different schedules and may prefer to engage in different ways. For these reasons, the commission offers multiple options for involvement including an anonymous community-wide survey; public meetings and planning charettes through social media; and opportunities for posting comments online.
Questions include but are not limited to the following:
Do you consider yourself to be a Hudson native? If you or your family chose to move to Hudson, please share the primary reasons why you or your family chose to move to Hudson. What would you say are Hudson’s best features? Based on your experience, please rate the condition of the following Town and School facilities. How would you describe the area in Hudson where you live? Are there streets, roads, or intersections where you would like to see improvements? Which areas in Hudson do you believe are appropriate for new single-family or multi-family residential development? Which areas in Hudson do you believe are appropriate for new commercial or industrial development? Which natural or historic areas or sites in Hudson do you believe are important to conserve or preserve? Regrettably, the survey form’s layout and size does not lend itself to being a newspaper article.
