George Rowe, 91 years young, served in both the Marines and Coast Guard Aviation groups. He has been a member of the Hudson American Legion Post 48 Firing Squad since 1984. Today, George serves as the captain of the Firing Squad and still participates in all the squad’s firing details. He is also the leader of the Post 48 American Legion Band and serves the post as the sergeant of arms. George is pictured here at the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony held at the Legion Post on Dec. 7.
