The tickets for Hudson’s hottest social event of the year went on sale April 20, and the line to purchase tickets stretched out of the Recreation Building across Campbell Avenue and down First Street.  What event created such a stir?  The Hudson Recreation’s “I Love You to the Moon and Back Daddy Daughter Dance” was the cause of all the excitement.

Tickets sales began at 6 p.m. with the line for tickets forming at 3:15 with beach chairs all over the streets!  This second year in a row the Hudson Recreation Department is offering two back-to-back nights of the event.

Recreation Officer Manager Chrissy Peterson said, “We want to make sure that every girl gets to enjoy the special night with her dad because before last year we had to cut ticket sales at 300 due to building restrictions.  Now we have two nights and have at least 270 each night!  It’s great!”

The dance will be held May 5 and 6; watch for the story in an upcoming edition of the paper.
