Battle of the Borders Invades Hills House

While we could not ask Dr. Hills about the runners all over his property on Saturday, the understanding was that when he willed the property to the Hudson School Board he wanted it as a school. Most likely, seeing 819 runners from schools across three states would have made him very happy.
Twenty-one teams participated in three different races, both boys and girls, for freshman, junior varsity and varsity. The biggest group had 290 runners in the boys’ JV race. Peppered with the more than 800 runners and about 400 parents, the Hills House grounds were alive with excitement.
Here are the results from the Battle of the Border for our local runners.

Boys Freshman Race: Alvirne – Cody Cahill, 13:01.93; no Campbell runners.
